Copying of Antiques - 2nd year
In this subject, we were able to learn about the antiques ( wood carvings and sculptures ) that belonged to the Le Trung Hung period - from the 15th century to the 18th century. We studied about the composition of the carvings and made the outline sketch for them.
Architecture Measurement - 3rd year
With this lesson, we traveled to Tien Giang province to visit the Royal Tomb in Go Cong city. This tomb belongs to Sir Pham Dang Hung, Grandfather of King Tu Duc. We made 3 different overall surfaces of each part of the tomb and then measured the building. the Next step was to perform the technical drawings of the detail and the structure of the building. The aim of this lesson was to understand throroughly about the ancient buildings and learn about the detail motifs in this historical monument.
One of my classmate was measuring the height of the sanctum from inside.
